Welcome to the Historic Tobin Resort, located in the heartbeat of the Feather River Canyon and the hidden gem of Plumas County. As you listen to the sounds of the nearby waterfalls, you see Tobin Resort is special. Rare. Unique. It’s where people recharge, awaken, connect, and come alive. Guests intentionally go out of their way to enjoy the experience, time after time. Whether it’s enjoying the river on a hot day, white water rafting, hosting bonfires under the stars, reading your favorite novel in peace and quiet, celebrating with family and friends, or turning guests into lifelong friends, Tobin is a place that knows how to deliver unforgettable moments. Laughter echoes off the canyon walls. Meals are shared on decks with mountain views. Every day brings a chance to explore, unwind, connect, and have some darn fun. Step inside the lodge and you enter living history. With roots dating back to the 1800s, this hall has long served as a gathering place – where people came to rest and reconnect after long days of work in the mountains. The original Tobin post office – still standing tall and in operation as recently as the last decade – remains perfectly intact within its walls, mailroom and all. A fully equipped kitchen and office complete the space, blending function and modernity with timeless heritage. Across over six acres, 15 cabins offer shared spaces, studio sanctuaries, and cozy retreats, delivering charm and variety throughout the property. In addition to the cabins are the Gallery and Antique Shop – unique spaces that add character and functionality to the estate. Oh, and, when was the last time you experienced Buck’s Creek? Well, Tobin Trail begins right on the grounds of Tobin Resort and leads you directly there – a walk away from more history, beauty, and adventure. This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity includes a fully operational resort offering unforgettable experiences and income-generating businesses – plus ownership of nearly one-third of the entire town of Tobin. Ready to own a resort that commands a large part of the town – and with it, a powerful piece of its history? Whether you’re envisioning a family retreat or a boutique resort that becomes the go-to local coffee stop, or a peaceful change of pace and a new community to call home, this property delivers joy, adventure, and income. Tobin Resort isn’t just a place to stay – it’s where people return year after year, story after story. Now, it’s your turn to take the lead.
