10 Us Route 66, Needles, California 92363

OWNER FINANCING AVAILABLE! Twenty-one acres in the Mojave. Let that sink in. Essex isn’t trying to be a suburb. Sitting quietly along the historic Route 66 corridor, this is a place defined by its sheer scale and absolute isolation. Most people driving Interstate 40 blast right past this unincorporated outpost, completely unaware that it sits right on the southern doorstep of the 1.5-million-acre Mojave National Preserve. Out here, the sky is bigger, the silence is deeper, and you get the kind of unfiltered desert where the horizon feels endless. The parcel itself backs up that sense of freedom. You are looking at a massive 21.02-acre footprint of completely flat, highly usable terrain at 1, 547 feet of elevation. Accessed via dirt roads which means you leave the pavement and the crowds far behind this land is zoned Resource Conservation (RC). San Bernardino County uses this designation to protect open spaces, and your parcel perfectly satisfies the standard 20-acre minimum required for rural living in this zone. It provides a clear legal path for a serious off-grid homestead, a large-scale recreational basecamp, or a custom desert retreat. There is no HOA here to hand you a rulebook, and with property taxes sitting under $500 a year, the math on holding this much acreage is incredibly favorable. You can keep it as a patient asset in a California portfolio, or bring out the solar panels and water tanks to start building your own world. Twenty-one acres of raw San Bernardino dirt. Some people look out here and see isolation. The right person sees exactly what they’ve been looking for.
