373 Moonrise Drive, Malibu, California 90265

Near the top of Saddle Peak Mountain, along a private gated road in the heart of Malibu, sit 2.5 acres of elevated open land with sweeping 180-degree views of the ocean, mountains, and coastline stretching as far as the eye can see. This is a canvas for the home you have always imagined, whether that means your own architect and your own vision, or a head start on a design that is already approved. For buyers who want to break ground sooner, permitted plans by acclaimed Malibu architect Luis Tena, AIA (Luis Tena Design) are available for an additional cost, with current permits that transfer to the buyer. Tena’s context-driven design responds to the site’s natural beauty with clean lines, warm materials, and walls of glass that frame the views. The approved plans include a 3, 242 square foot main residence with 3 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. They also include a future detached 700 square foot recreation room with its own bath and kitchenette, which could be built after the main house, and an infinity pool that appears to spill directly into the Pacific horizon. It is the kind of setting where the canyon falls away below you and the nearest neighbor feels like another world entirely. The hard work is done. With the plans, all that remains is the build. Fifteen minutes to Pacific Coast Highway. Twenty minutes to Nobu and Soho House. Twenty-five minutes to Cross Creek. And when you return, private, elevated, and completely your own. Offered as land only. Architectural plans and transferable permits are available separately for an additional cost. Renderings are intended to express the design concept only.
