53408 Stud Valley Road, Pioneertown, California 92268

Stud Valley Ranch is a iconic desert property. At the height of Pioneertown’s film and television days, Stud Valley Ranch was home to lodging the film crew. It was later a campground and one could camp in their travel trailer and also rent a Jeep from this location to explore the desert. The history of this property is fascinating and well documented. Today, the in-town twenty-six plus acre ranch is home to a living, working Western Cowboy lifestyle with a charming home, a rustic barn and ancillary buildings. The home features a great room with a small library, a den, two bathrooms and a loft. Radiant heat is in the floor and mini-splits provide air conditioning. There is an attached greenhouse that provides passive solar. A recently added bonus room is a multi purpose space. The barn is a large open space with a private room upstairs. It has a 3/4 bath and the kitchen has a 1940’s stove and laundry. A small office is a petite building located next to the grape arbor and Koi pond and it’s heated with a pot belly stove. Down a winding path one will find the unique pump house that has guest quarters and it’s own separate bath house with indoor and outdoor showers. There is a 60′ wooden round pen, two large pipe corrals, a large turn out of apx. 1 acre, two shade shelters and a lovely large shade tree for your horses. The land has the most beautiful 360 degree views and mature trees and desert flora. This property is completely private yet located in town. There are two excellent wells. This is an amazing opportunity for one to live in a most desirable location!
